Following the November 8 presidential election, the level of discriminatory and hate-driven actions directed at people of color, LGBT people, immigrants and refugees, people with disabilities and women have risen to a fevered pitch, with hundreds of incidents reported in the first few days after the election. The racism/misogyny/homophobia/xenophobia that has been called out into the open by President-Elect Trump and his followers already existed in some workplaces long before this election, and will undoubtedly spill over into the workplace. It is illegal, it is uncivil, and we have to be ready to combat it and shame it at every opportunity.
