Foundation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Action (FAIRA)
The Foundation for Aboriginal and Islander Research Action (FAIRA) was first registered in 1977, established as a charity to pursue the rights of the first peoples of Australia through research, education and lobby at the local, national and international levels.
Our purpose is to fight racism, and achieve land rights.
FAIRA is an organisation established and operated by First Nations (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander) peoples.
We apply research action as a principle to address exploitation and to take control of our futures.
