Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, non profit public service organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. A sisterhood of more than 250,000 predominantly African American college-educated women, the Sorority currently has more than 1100 Chapters in the United States.

The Frederick County Alumnae Chapter (FCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a sisterhood of over 50 college-educated predominantly African American women committed to service in the Frederick Community.

FCAC shares a vision and passion for the potential of our youth and families. We serve to ensure that Frederick County is a great place for all citizens to live, work, worship, serve and enjoy leisure time. FCAC embraces the mission of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. by offering programs and services within its Five-Point Program Thrust to serve the citizens of Frederick County, Maryland
