Our Government bailed out Wall Street, like always, using our money, like always, while telling the American people with a straight face, like always, to sink or swim. Well, Wall Street sure didn’t sink. They never do. But the American people are sinking further as each day passes.

We need to focus on the people who actually stimulate our economy, the working and middle class, not the people who try to bend the economy to exploit that labor for their personal gain. We need to revive the middle class that made us the envy of the entire world and we need to open super lane highways for those who are working their way up into the middle class. We need to develop new opportunities for everyone to live the American Dream. That can’t happen unless we wake up from this casino-capitalist nightmare. We need to focus on increasing wages while tying that increase to the rate of inflation, reducing the cost of living, and improving the health of our society. We need an economy that allows people to have a healthy work-life balance and still be able to support themselves and their families.

I believe in doing what works. We should learn from FDR and do what works: build a New Deal for our people, and that won't happen while we have politicians who are owned by their corporate donors. That's why my campaign motto is going to be OUT WITH THE SOLD, IN WITH THE TRUE. We need a truth teller. And we need to defeat politicians that refuse to stop taking legal bribes from giant multi-national corporations. My opponent's biggest funders are BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, and MILITARY CONTRACTORS. And I live in a district that is very working class and very progressive.
