Korean Resource Center - Leaders of the New School

The Korean Resource Center's (KRC) youth program, Leaders of the New School (LNS), aims to mobilize and empower youth to become strong effective leaders in their communities. It employs social justice education on topics such as history, immigration, and gentrification, as well as practical training and active application of skills from public speaking to project management. Upon completion of this program, participants will also be given the opportunity to apply these learned tactics to organizing and leading projects or campaigns, in their local communities or institutions--through a year-long internship with the KRC. This program aims to develop and motivate leaders of the next generation, and give them an opportunity to engage with community members, to build connections and gain hands-on experience.
