Labor Community @ Work is the non-profit charity 501c3 organization of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council, AFL-CIO dedicated to improving the lives of those in need in our neighborhoods and surrounding communities.

The United Way and the AFL-CIO began their partnership over 80 years ago during World War II. In our community today, our AFL-CIO Community Liaisons connect your local union to people who need help right in your neighborhood and surrounding towns using the resources provided by both the AFLCIO and United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County.
