The Manica Youth Assembly (MAYA) is a non-profit, non partisan solution-centred, youth and grassroots-based advocacy organisation which seeks to empower young people to actively and consciously participate in public affairs that affect them and proffer solutions. MAYA was established in 2018 after realising the wanton destruction of the environment and the effects of climate change upon society especially young people who will carry the burden on their shoulders for a long time. MAYA will capacitate young people to defend, Promote, protect and serve the environment by proffering creative and sustainable solutions and initiatives. We exist to create a political will for climate and environmental solutions for the greater good of society
