We are a group of friends and neighbors who are inspired by the Women's March and motivated by the current political situation to work to affect positive change.

We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, where we gather to support and learn from each other, identify action items, and report back on new findings.

We have identified four topics of concern (which could change in the future) on which we are focusing our efforts:

1. NEAR Act (community policing in DC)

2. Local elections (e.g. VA, PA; voter registration, canvassing, phone banking)

3. DC Home Rule

4. Keeping DC a Sanctuary City/Immigration rights
