Grand Strand - Recovery Advocacy Project
Myrtle Beach, SC
The Grand Strand - Recovery Advocacy Project is a collective of people with lived experience of substance use disorder and recovery in addition to impacted family members and allies.
We have a shared team purpose to empower the recovery community voices, advocate for safe spaces, and increase the area’s resources to respond to substance use and the housing crisis.
The group meets every two weeks in person to organize for the local changes that need to happen including direct outreach, advocacy, harm reduction efforts, and ongoing peer recovery support.
