Welcome to the New York State Lifeguard Corps. The NYSLC was established in 2010 by the members of the local Jones Beach Lifeguard Corps. With the help of NYSUT/UUP the New York State Lifeguard Corps. was formed bringing in lifeguards for all New York State Parks. From the tip of Montauk, Long Island to the depth of Niagara Falls in Buffalo, the Corps. is made of up of 1,200 men and women whose sole purpose is to keep the public safe in the aquatic environment.
