The Transport Workers’ Union has been the collective voice for the men and women working in the Australian transport industry for more than one hundred and twenty years. From humble beginnings at the turn of the last century, the TWU has grown to represent employees and owner-operators in every State and Territory, who work across a wide range of industries including aviation, mining, oil and gas, road transportation and freight logistics, public transport and waste management.
