The Safe and Welcoming Wyandotte Coalition is made up of over 30 local, organizational supporters and thousands of individual Wyandotte residents who believe now is the time for Wyandotte County, Kansas to pass the Safe and Welcoming ordinance, which would create an affordable municipal ID program as well as establish clear guidelines and boundaries for interaction between local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities.
