Schenectady Pride is an annual event, hosted in Schenectady, New York focused on celebrating the life and contributions of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQIA) community. Each winter/spring a group of volunteers come together to organize the festival which takes place the first weekend in June. Schenectady pride continues to benefit from the support of Proctors, Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation, the City of Schenectady, the County of Schenectady, Planned Parenthood, SLOC Musical Theater, Rivers Casino and so many more great local small businesses and champions.
