We are The Compatriots of Virginia's Sixth District, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.

We demand integrity, honesty, decency, and transparency of our elected representatives.

We demand that all citizens are treated with dignity, respect, and equality under the law regardless of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, physical ability, income, or any other such false distinction as might be made.  We declare that we are all equals in our democracy.

We demand that our representatives work for the people of our community, and not put corporate interests above those of the citizens.

We demand that our representatives always work to protect those in our community who are vulnerable, those whose rights may be trampled, those who are in need of comfort and aid from the abuses of individuals who have more power.

We demand that our representatives recognize their roles as stewards of Our land and water; and that they pledge to protect & improve Our natural resources for the future generations to whom the land and water rightfully belong.

We demand that our representatives never forget that they work for Us, and that they always provide free and open forums for the People to be heard; and that they pledge to Us that they will always, in good faith, act in accordance with the Will of the People.

These are the Principles that We the Compatriots of Virginia's Sixth District do Declare and Demand.
