West London Citizens is a broad-based alliance of member communities from Westminster to Hounslow, founded in 2005. In 2017 the leadership team decided to invest in building new local alliances in each of the 5 boroughs we currently have members starting in Westminster, the West End and Ealing but aiming to extend to areas like Hammersmith, Fulham and Chelsea over the next 4 years in order to significantly increase the power of local communities in West London.

Members come from diverse faith, education, labour and third sector organisations who commit to work together for the common good. Our focus is the development of people and communities so they have the power to make change on the issues that matter. Membership for organisations costs between £750-£5000 depending on the size, type and wealth of the organisation. We use this money to build sustainably and employ Organisers who support our work through training, relationship building and action. We are non-partisan and have a track record of working with businesses and with Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat politicians.
