Northern Neighbors fights for lively, livable, and sustainable neighborhoods in northern San Francisco. Every neighborhood should be vibrant with neighbors, safe streets, and good businesses. Everyone should have access to homes.

We support the currently approved project to build 273 homes to replace hospital facilities at 3700 California Street. Unfortunately with the COVID-19 pandemic and economic factors, the project has not started construction and the approvals are set to expire after five years. If the approvals expire, then the project has to start all over from the beginning to get approved from the various city departments. Please join us in writing to ask the permits to be extended to realize our goal of more abundant housing for families.
