There are three bills before the legislature this year that address some of the harsh economic realities for many people living in Washington State. HB 1878 will expand access to free meals for school children, HB 1947 will add a diaper subsidy for recipients of TANF benefits, and HB 1888 will fix the implementation of the Working Families Tax Credit to ensure that all eligible families will be able to access the tax credit as intended.
