Ephesus Youth Church is inviting you to tell Governor Cuomo about the negative impacts of the unfair distribution of the drug treatment centers in our city. Harlem is oversaturated with these centers, and they have become part of the problem rather than the solution. More affluent communities have rejected the placement of these centers in their neighborhoods and they have been put in Harlem excessively, leading to drug treatment clients having to travel to our neighborhood for treatment. Not only is this situation causing more issues, but also renders the recovery of those who have to come from other boroughs less effective.
