Ask Governor Wolf to Uphold the Paris Agreement in Pennsylvania

Climate-change_banner

On Thursday, June 1st 2017, President Trump announced his intention to withdraw the United States from the Paris Agreement, a decision that was met with swift and all-but-unanimous condemnation from around the world.

Since then, Americans have made it clear that President Trump may be withdrawing from the Paris Agreement, but the United States is not.

Governors and Mayors from around the country have proclaimed their municipalities’ commitments to the principles of the Paris Agreement.  Some have even stated that they will work directly with the EU and other world leaders on fighting climate change.

It’s up to each of us to lead the way on fighting climate change by supporting clean energy initiatives, pushing our leaders to enact forward-thinking policies, and to “walk the walk” when it comes to the environment.

Tell Governor Wolf that you will uphold the Paris Agreement, and you expect him to do the same for Pennsylvania.
