Ask your Representative to co-sponsor HR 1299, the Berta Caceres Human Rights in Honduras Act

Two years after Indigenous and social movement leader Berta Caceres was brutally murdered in Honduras, repression in Honduras has dramatically worsened. Over 35 people were murdered during pro-democracy protests, many by state security forces that opened fire with live bullets on demonstrators. Hundreds of others were injured, detained, and tortured. As we mark two years following the assassination of Berta Caceres, ask your member of Congress to co-sponsor HR 1299, the Berta Caceres Human Rights in Honduras Act, which would suspend US military and security aid to Honduras.

Note: If your representative has already signed, the message will not send.
