Between month long closure for NASCAR races, music festivals, roads cutting through our parks, and highways along our lakefront; it is impossible to access our parks and green space in a safe and reliable way. It's time we reimagine our lakefront and parks!

We should not even be considering how we rebuild a highway on our beautiful lakefront.

Imagine a Chicago where everyone feels safe walking across the street to the beach. Where there is frequent light rail or bus service efficiently moving thousands of people up and down the lakefront, along the entire city, and reducing traffic congestion. Where we replace loud and harmful traffic noise with the sounds of crashing waves and migratory birds. Where we can play tennis and pickleball without cars roaring past us.
