The bill recently introduced by a bipartisan group of senators to modernize and strengthen the Electoral Count Act of 1887 (ECA) is a huge breakthrough.

This bill would protect the will of the voters and help prevent a constitutional crisis following future presidential elections.

After the events that occurred following the 2020 presidential election, it is absolutely critical that this proposal get passed by Congress this year — well in advance of the 2024 election.

Congress needs to protect future elections and affirm that voters decide elections — not politicians.
