Contact your Legislators in support of Baystate Home Health Nurses!

Since last fall, Baystate Home Health (BHH) nurses— nurses who provide in-home care to those recovering from illness, injury, or surgery— have been attempting to negotiate a new contract with Baystate management. From Day 1, nurses at BHH made it clear to management that the future of high-quality home health services in our communities is their top priority. This includes valuing registered nurses and the care they provide, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, but Baystate management continues to put forward takeaway proposals to cut pay, sick time, and other benefits, which would increase turnover and negatively impact BHH nurses' ability to deliver the care patients deserve.

Negotiations have now reached a crisis point for BHH nurses. It's time we as a community call on our legislators to step up and support frontline workers! Using this form, contact your state legislators and ask them to add their name to the Massachusetts Nurses Association letter for a fair contract for Baystate Home Health nurses. Simply follow the steps on this page, and don't forget to share this form with others!

Home Health nurses are on the frontlines all the time. They are out in our communities caring for people with complex medical needs, enabling patients to remain at home and stay safe. This is no time to try and take hard-earned pay and benefits away from our frontline workers. Join Massachusetts Jobs with Justice in asking our legislators to show their support for frontline caregivers at Baystate Home Health!
