Tell Your Senators: Faster Labor Contracts Now!
When workers organize for a voice on the job, they should not have to spend years bargaining their first contract. Yet, lax labor laws allow employers to drag that process out, with it taking an average 458 days to bargain a first contract.
Fortunately, bipartisan legislation would put a stop to this form of union busting. The Faster Labor Contract Act (H.R. 5408; S.R. 844) would give workers leverage to get their first contracts in a timely manner by setting enforceable deadlines.
Tell your Senators to stand with workers and add their name to the Faster Labor Contracts Act.
