Dental bill will hurt EVERY insured Ohioan

OCSEA and your dental benefits administrator, the Union Benefits Trust (UBT), adamantly oppose proposed Ohio House legislation that prevents dental insurance providers, like Delta Dental, from negotiating lower fees for non-covered services for their members. Proposed Ohio House Bill 344, if passed, would give dentists the ability to charge members more money for non-covered services. While this directly impacts OCSEA members who utilize UBT, ALL Ohioans with dental insurance would be harmed by this dangerous overreach.

A hearing with proponent testimony only will be held on Ohio House Bill 344 this Wednesday, Sept. 22. Your action is needed! OCSEA members, as well as anyone they know with dental insurance, are urged to write members of Ohio House Insurance Committee and tell them to stop this costly regulation in its tracks.
