Don't Shutdown My State

In the next few days, the WV legislature will have one last chance to keep our state government from an unprecedented shutdown on June 30th.

This isn't a game.

It's time we let our legislators know what's at stake for our children, our families, and our communities.  We have to tell our stories.

* Hundreds of thousands of us will lose our jobs, our pensions, our scholarships, our child care, and our health coverage.

* We will immediately become a laughingstock in the national press, and a joke to potential employers and lenders thinking of investing in West Virginia.

* We will further stretch the public trust of West Virginia citizens, essentially choosing political gamesmanship over real governing.

Don't let it happen.  Don't Shutdown My State.

Send a free letter to all of your delegates and senators, telling our PERSONAL stories about what's at stake.  We have to make it personal, to cut through all the foolishness and partisanship at the Capitol.
