Big Tech tax lawsuits against San Francisco are a money grab. Billionaire corporations are robbing our City of vital public and social services to secure tax handouts for themselves. Big Tech like Airbnb, Uber and Lyft have been trying to engineer a wealth transfer to their own coffers since 2019, by suing the City so they don’t have to pay their fair share.

Because of the lawsuits, San Francisco is holding $415 million to cover the lawsuits - half of our City’s budget deficit, critical funds to ensure San Francisco residents can keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.
