Email Your State Representative and Senator Now to Co-Sponsor the Work and Family Mobility Act!

Allowing Bay Staters to apply for driver's license or identification card, regardless of immigration status, is a common sense public policy that benefits everyone.

We ask you to send a letter to your lawmakers in the Massachusetts State Legislature to urge them to support and co-sponsor An Act Relative to Work and Family Mobility (H.3456 & S.2289) this legislative session. This legislation would enable all qualified Massachusetts residents, regardless of immigration status, to apply for a standard license or identification card, while keeping our Commonwealth in full compliance with REAL ID requirements.

Studies show that similar legislation in sixteen other states has lowered the number of uninsured drivers, reduced hit-and-run accidents, lowered insurance premiums for everyone, increased state revenue through license applications, and boosted state economies through increased auto and insurance sales

With 78% of Massachusetts workers driving to work, the ability to get a license is essential. Send the following letter to your to let the Legislature know you support An Act Relative to Work and Family Mobility.

By filling out this form you agree to receive updates from the Driving Families Forward coalition and its members.
