EXPAND Social Security!

Elders and people with disabilities (PWDs) count on Social Security to live in dignity. As our people age, it is more important than ever that Social Security is:

* solvent, funded by fair taxes

* adequate to meet basic financial needs

The Social Security Expansion Act has been introduced on both US Senate and US House. Use this form to send your opinion to Congress.

An overlooked aspect of the importance of Social Security: freedom and flexibility throughout our working lives.

In countries with real public pensions, workers can make life and career decisions based more on our values, less on the need to avoid poverty in old age.

And any of us can become disabled; strengthening SS disability and supplemental benefits is both the right thing and good for everyone.
