Dear Legislator,

For nearly two years, the Illinois state government has been in a de facto  “shutdown.” I am writing to demand that a full and fair budget be passed immediately to fund education, health and human services and our essential services.  We must not concede to efforts to erode workers' rights and wages. We need to raise revenue on wealthy individuals and corporations, not working families. It's time to set aside Rauner's radical agenda and move forward to build Illinois' future.  The time is now!
