Fight for your Right to Repair
Every year, more and more US states are standing up for themselves and demanding the Right to Repair the things that they own. There are more states pushing for Right to Repair than ever before. Big manufacturers are pushing hard against the laws—they'd prefer that you buy new stuff instead of fixing your old stuff.
Tell your state legislator that you want Right to Repair legislation in your state too.
Repair is a public mandate. In 2012, Automotive Right to Repair passed with overwhelming support in Massachusetts and has since become national policy. But cars aren’t the only thing that breaks. We should be able to repair everything—from cell phones and appliances to televisions and tractors. And manufacturers should help instead of standing in the way. They need to provide owners and repair technicians with access to the parts, tools, and service information they need to fix these products.
Stand up for your Right to Repair—for your family, for your business, for your schools, and for your community. Write your legislator. Tell them that you want the Right to Repair in your state.
