Friends & Family: Don't Gamble With Aviation Safety: Keep the Government Open

The partial government shutdown ended at midnight, January 25, 2019. But that is only a temporary reprieve. The 800,000 federal employees who worked for over a month without pay, or were furloughed, may face the same stressful situation and financial uncertainty when the current continuing resolution expires at midnight, February 15, 2019.

We are asking friends and family of federal employees, as well as the overall flying public, to contact their members of Congress and ask them to prevent another shutdown and support a modest pay increase for these safety-critical workers for FY2019. Please contact your members of Congress today!
