Lawmakers: Support Georgia's Working Families with the Georgia Work Credit

Now is the time for state leaders to adopt a time-tested tool to boost working families with the Georgia Work Credit. Georgia is missing out on a tool used by 30 other states to strengthen hardworking families, boost local economies and help communities thrive.

The Georgia Work Credit (or state Earned Income Tax Credit) helps return up to $500 per year to families with low to moderate incomes. The added funds help workers and their families afford basic necessities like child care, as well as larger investments like a reliable car to get to work or a down payment on a first home.

Now is the time to enact a Georgia Work Credit and help make work pay for more than a million families across Georgia.  Write a letter asking your lawmaker to support a Georgia Work Credit.
