It is a miracle. Campaign finance bills are getting out of committee in our General Assembly for the first time in 30 years.

We need your voice to get legislators to vote "Yes" on campaign finance bills in the House and the Senate. They include bills restricting personal use of campaign funds, limits, strengthening disclosure of dark money and many more. See below bills which are still in play.

House of Delegates:

• Restricting personal use of campaign funds:  Del. Cole (HB2165)
• Disclosure of Independent Expenditures:  Del. Sickles (HB2670)
• Campaign Finance Information Portal: Del. Krizek (HB2140).
• Public Financing of Local Elections: Del. Simon (HB1761)

Senate:

• Restricting personal use of campaign funds: Sen. Boysko (SB1002)
• Restricting use of AI on election advertising: Sen. Surovell (SB 775)
• Limits on contributions: Sen. Deeds (SB1469) , Sen. Roem (SB 1050)

Let's all take easy action. How, you ask? We can send a message to our elected officials in Richmond.  Tell them that this is a historic moment to pass campaign finance bills which would build trust in our institutions and our elected officials.
