The emergency rules created to implement the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act requires that provisioning centers that have not received a license from the state close their doors on June 15, 2018, or risk not being approved for a license.

We are now just four weeks away from that deadline and not a single medical marihuana facility has completed the cumbersome application process, and no facilities have been approved for operation.

We urge you to send Governor Snyder an email and demand that he authorize LARA to extend the deadline and allow provisioning centers to remain open until the Medical Marihuana Licensing Board approves enough applications to ensure that patients have uninterrupted access to the medical cannabis products they need!
