Help end killing contests: Support the Prohibit Wildlife Killing Contests Act

Thousands of foxes, coyotes, bobcats, and even sometimes wolves are killed every year in wildlife killing contests held around the country. Even family pets are not safe. More than 20 dogs have been killed across the United States and Canada because they were mistaken for coyotes. Endangered and threatened species are put at risk in any of these events taking place where they live.

These unsporting killing derbies are not in keeping with "fair chase" hunting principles and serve no conservation purpose. Congress has a chance to finally block them on federal lands.

Tell your U.S. Representative that you support the Prohibit Wildlife Killing Contests Act of 2024 and ask that they work to pass it into law.
