Help Make Sure Parents are Heard

Legislators are right now deliberating over a state budget package that does not siphon resources away from neighborhood schools across Connecticut. Leadership in the General Assembly has presented a responsible alternative to the governor’s proposal for nearly $5 million to charter management companies to operate two new facilities.

Parents of the students our member educators teach and support oppose funds for new charters while their children’s schools struggle. They have an important message for state lawmakers and they deserve to be heard.
