On Thursday, May 11 2017, in an interview aired on NBC with anchor Lester Holt, Donald Trump stated in reference to his decision to fire FBI director James Comey, "And in fact when I decided to just do it, I said to myself, I said 'you know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story, it's an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should have won'."Donald Trump's statement, aired on national television, revealed that his motivation for firing FBI director Comey, was Comey's role in the Trump Campaign/Russian Ties Investigation.

This is a blatant obstruction of justice.

On Monday, May 8 2017, Donald Trump used the official @POTUS twitter account to intimidate a witness just prior to Sally Yates' testimony to congress concerning former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. The tweet stated, “Ask Sally Yates, under oath, if she knows how classified information got into the newspapers soon after she explained it to W.H. Council.”

On Friday, May 12 2017, Donald Trump used his personal @realDonaldTrump twitter account to intimidate the newly fired FBI Director and potential witness in the Trump Campaign/Russian Ties Investigation.
