Last year, against the will of then-Governor Baker and a powerful array of corporate polluters, we defeated proposals to subsidize biomass as renewable energy and restored Massachusetts' place as a climate leader.

Now, it's time to finish the job and end all supports for biomass plants in Massachusetts. To do this, we need to build on the legislation we passed last year.
