Back in July, the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCAA) released draft approval order for the Tacoma LNG facility construction permit. PSCAA has ignored the requests of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians and over 80 community organizations, including CHB, who have all demanded this permit be denied.

This is our last chance to comment on the LNG project.

It is going to take everyone of us to convince PSCAA to reject this project. We must encourage PSCAA to consider the shrinking window of time we have to address climate change, and that the LNG project will worsen the impacts of the climate crisis at the time we need to be making progress in reducing climate emissions. If PSCAA allows the LNG project to advance, it will make solving climate change even more difficult.
