Keep our kids in school. End out-of-school suspensions of 4, 5, 6, and 7-year-olds.
Out-of-school suspensions harm children. We need to keep our youngest students in school where they can continue to learn.
One sentence must be added to NHC Board Policy 4300: “Suspensions will not be used as a consequence for 4, 5, 6, and 7-year-old children, except for offenses that endanger the health and safety of others, such as the possession of weapons or drugs or a violent assault.”
Send a letter to the NHC Board of Education and tell them to keep our kids in school.
