Keep the Upper Yough Wild
In 2014, the Maryland DNR rejected a trail proposal slated to utilize a 110 year old railbed next to the the Upper Youghiogheny. The basis for the rejection was due to the negative impacts that construction would impose on the rare plants / animals, to complex wetland areas, and to the protected corridors of the Scenic & Wild Upper Youghiogheny River. The trail project has been re-proposed utilizing the same railbed. Help us to Defend the Yough!
