On Wednesday, March 15, the Yukon NDP will be bringing forward a motion calling on the government to ensure we have an elementary school in downtown Whitehorse.

We've heard loud and clear from residents how important it is for them to have an elementary school for families living downtown.

The government won't commit to an elementary school downtown. That's why we need YOU to change their minds: send an email to Education Minister Jeanie McLean to tell her why Whitehorse's downtown needs an elementary school!

The Minister needs to understand that schools are vital to communities.
