LGBT older adults and older adults with HIV would face devastating challenges under the proposed American Health Care Act (AHCA).

Why? LGBT older people face pronounced health challenges -- even more so than their non-LGBT peers. In addition, due to a lifetime of employment discrimination and stigma, LGBT elders face extremely high poverty rates.

The lethal combination of poverty, health challenges and the proposed skyrocketing costs in the AHCA puts the lives of LGBT elders at risk.
