Mayor Chow: Tell Toronto Police to stop criminalizing residents demanding an end to Gaza’s starvation and genocide.

On July 19, Toronto Police once again attacked peaceful protesters demanding an end to the genocide in Palestine, arresting 11 people while dozens were shoved to the ground, tackled, punched, and pinned under riot gear. Instead of defending our constitutional rights to speak out, Mayor Olivia Chow has remained silent or, worse, deflected responsibility — protecting Canada’s complicity rather than the people she serves. This happens as Gaza faces unprecedented starvation designed by the Israeli occupation, and upheld by our government.

Take action now to demand Mayor Chow condemn police repression, uphold the right to protest, and act on her promises of care, safety, and belonging.

Tell Mayor Chow: Toronto Police must stop criminalizing Toronto residents speaking out against forced starvation and an end to the genocide in Palestine.
