On WEDNESDAY the Senate will vote on whether or not to approve Governor Edwards' education funding plan, which was unanimously approved by BESE in March and reaffirmed last week.

Tell the committee to vote for the resolution as it:

• $101 million for raises for teachers and support staff secured in Step 3 of the MFP formula AND
• $39 million in increased funding for local school districts in Step 1 of the MFP formula

This plan is a first step towards getting Louisiana public schools back to where we need to be after a decade of disinvestment.

Tell them to vote YES for the resolution as it is!
