Tell Wal-Mart CEO's to act on MPP's Plastic Take-Back requests and end plastic packaging!
PLASTIC IS A HEALTH, ENVIRONMENTAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL JUSTICE CRISIS!
It is nearly impossible to shop at Wal-Mart without bringing home a massive amount of single-use plastic packaging. It doesn't need to be this way. We can bring our own bags to buy fruits and vegetables without plastic clamshells, bags and wrappers. We can bring our own bags to buy beans, rice, flour and more in bulk without plastic and paper packaging. We can bring our own bottles to buy milk and juice without plastic bottles.
Most importantly we can support Extended Producer Responsible and bottle bills. Currently companies have externalized the cost of disposal of SUP to municipalities and consumers. These bills will move the responsibility from the consumer to the producers of SUP to decrease and dispose of plastic in a regenerative manner.
