For 13 years big energy companies held control of “energy efficiency” programs costing ratepayers over $37 million for power we didn’t even use.  

Last Fall, all 5 Public Service Commissioners voted for accountability and independence – approving a local administrator to watchdog projects and ensure that utility customers benefit from savings as part of a 5-year plan to reduce power waste and save customers money.

Now, big energy companies want the plan thrown out to protect unfair profits.

Urge newly elected Commissioner Jean-Paul Coussan to PROTECT ratepayers and OPPOSE the utility lobby’s efforts to overturn years of work to lower customers rates in favor of corporate profits.
