No Gondola on LA State Historic Park!

California State Parks is proposing to amend the general plan for LA State Historic Park to allow the LA ART gondola, a private developer’s project, to be built on our public park land. The gondola would uproot 81 trees at LA State Historic Park, build a massive 98 ft tall station at the park’s southern entrance, and fly cabins as low as 26 ft above heavily-used recreation areas in the park. The gondola is incredibly invasive to the surrounding neighborhoods of Chinatown and Elysian Park, and it would completely change the character and use of this community greenspace.

Send letters to the California State Park and Recreation Commission and tell them NO gondola on our park!
