No Highlands Compressor Expansion

Despite the growing urgency of our inter-twined climate and public health crises, the fossil fuel industry continues their reckless assault on NJ. Tennessee Gas Pipeline company is proposing to expand their fracked gas pipeline through the protected NJ Highlands, an ecological treasure that provides more than half of our residents with clean, affordable drinking water. This project would send even more fracked gas at higher pressures through an existing pipeline that's already over 65 years old and way beyond its useful life.
The company is applying for an exemption from the NJ Highlands Act. Send Governor Murphy and the DEP a comment urging them to reject this permit.
You may have already commented on the Highlands Act Exemption last fall, but a technical issue caused the DEP to delete the thousands of comments that had been sent in. Please take a moment now to resubmit your comments. This additional comment period closes on April 2nd at 5:00 PM.
